Col. Arlie J. Blood
USAAF WWII & USAF (Ret)

Arlie Blood was shot down in France in WWII but was rescued by the French Resistance, the Maquis. He fought with them until he was captured by the Germans. He escaped and re-joined the Maquis. He eventually made his way back to the American lines where he was put in charge of a school to teach pilots how to escape from capture. The following are photo extracts from Arlie's book, together with this author's comments.
